Bio of Guest
Djenita Svinjar is an Associate Attorney at Beltzer Bangert & Gunnell LLP (BBG Construction Law) where she represents general contractors across the United States. In her role, Djenita helps her clients with negotiating commercial contracts, external general counsel matters, and pre-litigation dispute resolution. Prior to her time at BBG, she was Corporate Counsel for a multibillion-dollar general contractor in Colorado, and In-House Counsel and Assistant Vice President for one of the nation's leading title insurance companies. Djenita is heavily invested in the community and sits on the boards of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Weld County, the National Association of Women in Construction's Denver chapter, the Law Committee for the Board of Law Examiners for the State of Colorado and she is also a member of the Future Leaders Forum for the Associated General Contractors of Colorado. 

Djenita is passionate about entrepreneurialism and loves to travel, write, and learn more about the wine industry in her free time. arrived in the United States in 1994 as a child refugee escaping the Bosnian War and she credits her background and upbringing to instilling a work ethic that brings her to where she is today.
